His published research includes: Operations Management Consulting Marketplace; Supply Chain Management Consulting Marketplace; Customer Strategy and Interaction Consulting Marketplace; and R&D Strategy and Product & Service Development Consulting Marketplace.

Previously, Burchfield was a Senior Consultant and served as Operations Manager of the Business Planning Solutions group at HIS Global Insight, where he led a variety of strategic planning consulting projects in several industries.
